Music breeds creativity and these dolls were heavily inspired by "When the Day met the Night" by Panic! at the Disco. Taking the sun and moon as elements in chibi-style dolls I created this stop motion animation to play alongside the music.

Joined forever in Holy Mousetrimony these two have tied the knot and not a day goes by they don't feel like newly weds. With one big basket and a little extra help from human hands, these two shared a lovely afternoon together.

This piece was a pet memorial piece that I brought to life in a short stop motion video. He received some soft pets, because he has been, and will always be, a good boy.

The world might seem big and scary when you're small, but the miniature African Wild Dog is ready to take on anyone brave enough to tower over him.
As a child the easiest way to tell a story was through photographs. Capturing a glimpse of a moment that could be retold to friends and family was only the beginning. Using repeated photographs I bring my soft sculptures to life in the garden. With the bright greens and soft sun casting perfect lighting these dolls come into their own as characters. I dream of making longer animations and telling complete stories with them. Each video gets a little bit longer and a little bit better as I continue to work on them, but the journey is far from over.
